| | SHALL WE BE TAXED TO DAMN OUR OWN SOULS? by Davy C Rockett"Shall we be taxed to damn our children souls?", was a question asked by people at the
time of the famous1925 Scope Trial, where the debate between evolution being taught in schools or not, was playing out in American politics in Tennessee. This question should be asked again and again of our government at every level. Mind, Body, and Soul, of every hour of every day.
Are we allowing ourselves to be damned as we sit back and watch leader
after leader, explain in sound-bytes, why government should help or perhaps damn you, while they dismantle your God-given rights, to take care of yourselves as you see fit, while exploiting you and their federal boundaries, binding them from that very thing, by well-though out Constitutional Rule of Law.
Do you now feel your being duped? Well you are. Government's only responsibility is to ensure those rights are protected and secured to you from foreign and domestic enemies. A tyrannical government is one that neglects those laws or duties of service to it's people.
While Christians slumber, the law of the land is subverted and perverted, and we hide behind the very words of Romans 13 as if we can do nothing about tyranny, when it raises it's ugly head. Do we even think for ourselves enough nowadays to even know what tyranny looks like?
No wonder in the last days will many of the saints be fooled by the Anti-Christ.
Do you need a leash, to be led around like a dog, or do you believe the God of Heaven gave you enough commonsense to know things are very wrong in our government today.
Our leaders are not upholding the law of the land which they swear to God Almighty himself to uphold, as any blind man can see and attest to. The national debt screams it, deficit spending
screams it. The very fact your house cost a ten times more than your fathers house 30 yrs ago, says it. The ineptness America has in nation building over the last 50 yrs says it.
Where is the leaders of Christianity, and why aren't they exposing the darkness of corruption in government, with the light of Liberty forged deep within those God-given rights, our
Constitutional Rule of Laws, that is the bedrock, the cornerstone of our nation and laws. Why is no one courageous enough to stand for that light? Is the darkness that big, is it that scary? Are we just so apathetic that we can't move an inch compared to the opposition's mile.
We are damned before judgment day, if we just roll over and die today, letting that light slowly dim away, as government grows bigger and the police nanny state takes over, for our own good. As for me and my house we will fight to secure our God-given liberties, and no man will take it away unless he takes me from the earth, but only for a time, but only for a
moment, then in Liberty's arms I'll be.
My declaration of Independence. No king, but King Jesus. |
